Before my coffee, I escape

A perfect morning, what made it for me…  I woke up and did my morning warm-up ritual followed by a few minutes of appreciation meditation. It’s always a little difficult to just jump out of bed, but it really sets an amazing tone for the rest of my day to kick off this way. On this particular day, I decided to get on my bike and ride down the Greenway, my piece of heaven and the place I escape to. Words can’t express the feeling I get riding there, it is like flying matched with being a little kid, it is so liberating. From the Greenway, I decided to go on to Baker park and ride to the hill top viewing point and then down to the beach off of Central Ave. Fortunately, I decided to put on my bathing suit to dip in and awaken my senses in that delicious 75 degree water. It was perfect, it was serene, peaceful, crystal clear, it was simply magical. I decided to float and take in the beauty, as I submerged myself in it completely. Then I sat on my sarong to dry up and allow the breeze gently caress my skin and take the moment in. I felt revived, a new day and new life.

I escaped to visit the manifestation of my dreams, the beach. This is the place where my soul finds peace. The place that kicked off this new start and made my day. I sure hope you find or have found a place like this in your life and revisit it often because there in no other feeling that can compare to the one you get from having your soul fly, and this place does it for me, and for that, I am grateful!
